The title bar is a bar located along the top of a window or a dialog box that displays the name of the window or software program being used. For example, as can be seen in the picture below the title bar gives the name of the program and document currently being edited.
Besides giving a description of the open program or window, the title bar can also contain other useful features. Below is a list of some of the functions of the title bar. Keep in mind that not all of these features are supported in all operating systems and programs.
